Two weeks ago we went with Jeremiah to observe what God had to show us in the potter’s house. I hope you are inspired by the good news that our Creator reshapes us, molds us, and makes us into new creations for the Kingdom of God. How is God at work reshaping you?
Last week we read together from the prayers of one of the minor prophets, Habakkuk. We explored the tough questions that arise in the face of painful experiences of injustice. And God answered! The promises of God encouraged us to be able to say with Habakkuk:
“I will still rejoice in the Lord! I will rejoice in the God who saves me!
The Eternal Lord is my strength! God has made my feet like the feet of a deer;
and allows me to climb mountains.” (Habakkuk 3:18-19)
I am looking forward to worshiping with you again this Sunday. Our Coast to Coast readings take us through the tragic fall of Jerusalem and we experience the disastrous event with God’s prophets and people. This week we will focus on the book of Lamentations and participate in a special prayer station inspired by what we read there.
Blessings on the rest of your week and see you in worship!
