Laity Sunday
Together, we celebrated and gave thanks for the ministry of those among us.
Our takeaways were to:

- CONNECT with each other- we are the church together!
- DISCOVER the mission of the laity.
- SERVE as a witness to Christ wherever you may be.
- Pray: God, empower me to reach out to others, share my faith, and glorify you in all I do.
Laity (noun) lā-ə-tē
Definition: the people of God, the congregation, the members of a church who are not clergy
The term comes from the Greek word laos which means “the people.”
